Meet Ian Duffy, Founder & Builder
Ian Duffy got his start in residential construction at an early age, accompanying along his uncle from job site to job site. Watching projects come together from the ground up sparked a passion for building that never left. At 14, he began working as a carpenter’s apprentice, developing a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the process of creating lasting, functional homes.
By the time he was 18, Ian was managing full-scale residential builds—from coordinating subcontractors and managing budgets to ensuring every detail met a high standard of quality. His early experience gave him a strong foundation not only in the technical aspects of construction, but also in project leadership and client relationships.
At 20, Ian founded Duffy Development LLC, with a focus on building well-designed, high-quality homes that meet the needs of modern families. Based in the Greater Boston area, the company specializes in new construction builds, high end renovations that combine timeless architecture with today’s functional living.
Today, Ian leads each project with a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to detail, design, and durability. His homes are known for thoughtful layouts, elevated finishes, and a sense of livability that resonates with families looking for both beauty and practicality.
